Video Conferencing

What is Video Conferencing?

The Manitoba Community Futures Video Conference Network can improve your ability to communicate effectively with businesses and organizations across Manitoba, Canada and the world.

With 17 locations available in Manitoba, this new and innovative way of sharing information allows participants to simultaneously see, hear and speak with one another at a distance.

The applications of video conferencing are limitless, and include:

  • training,
  • meetings,
  • announcements,
  • and staff recruitment.

Time and money are saved when you don't have to send participants to a single meeting location.

The network is internet-based so all that you need at alternate locations is a video conference unit with an IP (Internet Protocol) address.

How can it benefit your business or organization?

Consider video conferencing when:

  • a live conversation is needed,
  • visual information is an important component of the conversation
  • Participants can not physically come to the same location or
  • The expenses or time of travel is a consideration

How much does it cost to rent out to other organizations?

  • Business and Government: $100/hour/site (Max: $500/day/site)
  • Non-Profit Organizations: $50/hour/site (Max: $250/day/site)
