The North Central Community Futures Development Corporation Inc will endeavour to bring together to support, develop, and promote communities, individuals, organizations, buisness and other appropriate stakeholders within the north central region (of Manitoba) to encourage self reliance and viability of the social and economic quality of life.

The 2011 Community Futures conference was held in Thompson September 20th - 22nd, 2011. The event was attended by over 100 delegates.

Community Futures North Central Development board and staff received much positive feedback on the 3-day event themed as "Discover a Northern Adventure!"
